John Beckmann
Director of Field Engineering

Mr. Beckmann, who joined VDA as vice president in 1983, now directs day-to-day operations of the field enineering department. His pre-VDA experience included management positions in operations and repair at several elevator companies as well as NEIEP, ASME, and NAESE course completion. Director of selected modernization projects, he also holds ASME certification as a Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) and co-chairs the New York City Elevator Code Committee.
