Chief Operating Officer/Principal
Mr. Beckmann, who joined VDA as vice president in 1983, is responsible for the company's policies and procedures and directs day-to-day operations. His pre-VDA experience included management positions in operations and repair at several elevator companies as well as NEIEP, ASME, and NAESE course completion. Principal-in-charge of selected modernization projects, he also holds ASME certification as a Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) and co-chairs the New York City Elevator Code Committee
