Mr. Stack, who joined VDA as a Senior Associate in 1989, provides technical support to the field and engineering staff, development of field service inspection and code compliance policies as well as the development of master modernization and maintenance specifications.  Principal-in-charge of major modernization projects, he holds ASME certification as a Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI), is a New York City licensed Elevator Inspector as well as a member of the New York City Elevator Code Committee.  Mr. Stack holds an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Electronics Engineering Technology and is responsible for electronic elevator vibration and noise analysis as well as computerized traffic analysis.

Prior to joining VDA, Mr. Stack was an adjustor/troubleshooter for a large independent elevator contractor in New York City as well as a New York City accredited instructor for the Joint Apprentice Training Committee, Local Union #3, IBEW Elevator Division Apprentice Training Program.
