This 450,000 sq. ft. glass-enclosed complex comprises the cello-shaped, 2,500-seat Verizon Hall, home of the Philadelphia Orchestra; and the jewel-like 650-seat Perelman Theater which, with the historic Academy of Music at Broad and Locust Streets, have a total capacity of approximately 6,000.

VDA provided full consulting services from schematic design through the construction administration phase for 9 geared traction elevators and 4 roped hydraulic elevators. Groundbreaking was on November 12, 1998, and the grand opening celebration for the $235 million project was held on December 16, 2001.
