The new 184,712 sq. ft., 7-story California NanoSystems Institute, on the campus of UCLA, spans an existing parking structure, allowing for a large laboratory floor plate.

The building contains Information Technology Infrastructure, Imaging and Spectroscopy, INMOS, Incubator Labs, a 4,000 sq. ft. Data Center and interactive space for planning and activities.

VDA is provided consulting services for a group of 3 geared passenger elevators and 1 service elevator. The building was completed in December 2005.
