Paris-based Sofitel has 110 hotels worldwide including eight in the United States. Their U.S. flagship is the 30-story, midtown-New York project that was completed in November 2002. The Development Manager was Constructra, and Lehrer McGovern Bovis served as Construction Manager for the $70 million project.

VDA provided full-consulting services from schematic design through construction for the vertical transportation systems comprising a 4-car passenger group, 2 service elevators (low- and high-rise), a low-rise freight elevator and two high-rise service/freight elevators.
