VDA provided consulting services through shop drawing review for the elevators and escalators in the InterContinental Boston, a $330 million, 21-story waterfront hotel and residential project.
The hotel component features 424 rooms in a low 61-foot component along the Fort Point Channel. The residential component, on floors 13-20, is to be called The Residences at the InterContinental, and features 130 luxury condos ranging in size from studio to 4-bedroom penthouse.

The architect was Howard Elkus of the Boston firm of Elkus/Manfredi.
