This octagonal-shaped tower, built above an eight-story square podium base, is the World Headquarters for Bear Stearns Companies, Inc. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill is the architect.

VDA provided a full range of consulting services from conception design through construction for this 1,200,000 sq. ft. building with 47 floors. The building, which was completed in 2001, has a total of 23 passenger elevators (eight in the low-rise bank serving the trading floors; seven in the mid-rise bank and eight in the high-rise bank). There also are 2 service elevators serving all floors, and four escalators.
