Years of experience position VDA to provide vertical transportation consultation for the healthcare environment. This includes several ongoing master plans for large urban medical centers that require comprehensive designs for clinical and surgical space, patient/visitor centers, medical education settings, diagnostic locales, and research facilities. Sensitivity to patient privacy is utmost and - as in all buildings that house large populations - safety, including evacuation, is a prime consideration in design.
